Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actor. She has a number of soap opera characters, such as Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress also played the character role of Daphne in the second season of the HBO drama series True Blood. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her teaching career as a teacher within Maury County where she taught kindergarten and the first graders Reading. She was married to Brent Jones, her UT Martin beloved, and then moved to Thompsons Station in 1998. The following year at Bethesda Elementary she started teaching 4th grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was teaching while receiving her Master of Instruction in Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped out of the classroom after they welcomed their youngest son Baylor into the world in 2000. Ashley was a 15-year volunteer for her congregation, the community and the children. Ashley has served as a pastor in the Preschool and Student Ministry of Thompson Station Church for over 13 years. Ashley has home-schooled her three children during the time she was away at her home. Ashley taught History at the tutorial for homeschoolers while they were homeschooling. God taught her family that although she enjoyed being at home with her children and being with them for a while, it was time for her to return to school. Brent and Ashley both have five children. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all pupils at GCA. Baylor Caldwell, a GCA graduate, attends UT Martin, where he plays baseball at the university.
